Job Context

Support the Treasury Manager in the provision of a high-quality treasury and FX dealing service using two base currencies to support the company`s expanding worldwide remittance business. Ensuring the company makes optimal use of its working capital through monitoring and reporting on multiple bank account balances, including correspondent banks in South Asia and operating accounts in UK and Europe. Maintaining balances within set limits whilst working to strict deadlines. The team strives to generate market-leading remittance rates, whilst maximising margin in a highly competitive market.

Job Responsibilities

Provide high quality, accurate reporting of currency holdings and bank account balances, ensuring these remain within expected limits (daily, weekly, monthly)
Ensure accuracy of system records, ancillary records and reporting of FX deals and other fund transfers
Foreign exchange – execute daily FX deals directly with correspondent banks as directed or mandated
Report daily on available rates /deals across correspondent banks
Ensure repatriation of EU funds is completed as expected
Assist in maintaining and developing corresponding banking relationships at an operational level
Assist with day to day ad hoc banking queries and reporting
Monitor market data and statistics from varied sources

Educational Requirements

Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Finance Banking or Accounting
Finance degree or formal qualification essential
Skills Required: Expertise in MS Office, Knowledge of international payment systems desirable, Remittance experience is highly desirable
